We offer a wide range of sun, clear and custom sunglasses with prescription lenses. However, prescription is not available on all items we sell online.
If the item is available in prescription you will see a button on the product page which says ADD PRESCRIPTION LENSES or SEE PRESCRIPTION VERSION. To shop all of our prescription sunglasses you can also navigate to this page which includes our widest range of sun prescription.

For prescription custom items you can select prescription at the lenses stage of the configuration.

To be able to process your prescription order we require an up-to-date prescription and pupillary distance measurement (often referred to as PD). We will ask for your prescription after checkout. You have 3 options for sending your prescription:

• 1. Manually insert or upload an image of your prescription before checkout
• 2. After purchase, upload your prescription in “My order details”
• 3. After purchase, send it by email to RXservice@ray-ban.com or text it to 58381

Please remember to include your order number in the email or text message. If you can’t send us the prescription directly after the purchase, you can click on ‘PROVIDE YOUR PRESCRIPTION’ in your order confirmation email and in your personal account.

Each State has varying regulations regarding the validity of eyewear prescriptions which we fully comply to. We are unable to accept out of date prescriptions and will cancel orders which are sent in with an out of date prescription. The Ray-Ban logo is included on all prescription eyewear.

If you uploaded or manually inserted the wrong prescription, you have one hour after your purchase to cancel the order and submit a new one. If you have an issue with your prescription more than one hour after purchase, please contact our prescription team as soon as possible: RXservice@ray-ban.com.

Most Insurance providers allow you to claim your rebates directly with them after purchasing your prescription eyewear* online from Ray-ban.com/canada.

Your health care optical benefits can be used for prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses.

The amount you can claim depends on factors such as your insurance, level of cover, waiting periods, and prior claims. You can contact your insurance provider directly to determine your eligibility.

Eligible insurance members may be able to claim prescription glasses, including those with lens coatings such as Blue-violet light filter, when purchased online. Contact your insurance provider to determine your eligibility. We can provide itemized invoices for eligible items to claim from your insurer directly.

Eligible insurance members may be able to purchase prescription glasses or sunglasses online, contact the customer service to request the invoice, then submit it to their insurance provider for reimbursement.

Generally, insurance policies have an annual reset period allowing members to claim optical products every year. The majority reset on January 1st, while some reset based on the financial year or joining period. Please consult your insurance provider regarding your individual reset period and cover.
